From Family Beans To Local Café
Growing up, the people behind The Bearded Baristaa were immersed in a family business roasting Lebanese coffee beans and nuts. After spending time in other fields, the pandemic sparked a return to those familiar roots – and back into the coffee industry.
This time, the focus shifted from wholesale to retail. At the height of the pandemic, a small space was rented and The Bearded Baristaa opened as an eleven-table café also offering takeaway coffee.
From the beginning, the aim has been simple: honour a heritage of Lebanese coffee while creating a relaxed neighbourhood spot for honest, generous food.
